Play the Game Conference, Cologne
Jonas Baer-Hoffmann represented EU Athletes and SP.IN in a penal discussion and presented the study "Adverse Analyzing"
The seventh edition of the "Play the Game Conference" was hosted these days by the Sportsuniversity Cologne and yesterday featured a penal with the title "WADA reforms - which challenges are most urgent in anti-doping policies?"
As a replacement of Mr. Walter Palmer, Generalsecretary of EU Athletes, SP.IN's Jonas Baer-Hoffmann made a presentation on the study "Adverse Analyzing" conducted by EU Athletes and Uni Global Union, which critically took on the reporting practices and statistics on the effectiveness and transparency of the current Anti Doping system.
The penal also featured Olivier Niggli (Legal Director of WADA) Hajo Seppelt (a resprected freelance journalist) Prof. Wilhelm Schänzer (Head of the Institute for Biochemistry of the German Sport University Cologne), Prof. Perikles Simon (Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz) and Arne Ljungquvist (Vice Chairman of WADA and Member of the IOC).
Presentations were followed up by a Question and Answer session.
